He won titles at the District 28 & Shore Conference Tournaments, finished 3rd in Region 7, and was the runner-up at the Sam Cali Memorial and Walter Woods Tournaments. Epperly finished his career at Jackson with 123 wins, tying him for 4th place all-time for the Jags.

Senior Kyle Epperly closed out his Jags' career by finishing in 5th Place at 195 at this year's State Tournament. It is the 2nd State Medal for Epperly, who finished his career tied for 5th all-time on the Jags' career wins list. He is the 60th State Medalist all-time for Jackson Memorial.

The Jags, who have had more District Champs than any other Shore Conference program, crept a little bit closer to #200. Their 4 champs this season, Nick White, Mike Rauch, Kyle Epperly, and Brad Galassi, brings their total number to 198. For Epperly, his title was the third of his career, making him the 24th Jag to hit the 3-timer club. It is the 28th Team Title for the Jags, the 2nd most in the Shore, trailing only Brick Memorial.

Down Low (106-132): The Jags will once again have a strong group of lowerweights. Junior Brett Blaess won 28 matches last year, and won the D28 Title and placed 5th in Region 7. Lance Hobbs, a District runner-up last year, provides senior leadership to what is going to be an otherwise pretty young group. Junior Luke Temple, who started as a freshman, is back after having his season cut short due to injury a season ago. Junior Paul Izzo and sophomore Andrew Cennamo both got some experience in last season. There are also some very promising coming in with Lucas LiPari and Quinn Bohringer among them.
In The Middle (138-160): Senior Hunter Smith, a 25-match winner, and junior Nick White, are both returning District Medalists. Junior Rob Lagravenis is capable of having a breakout season for the Jags, which would strengthen this group even more. Another one of the Jags' promising freshmen is looking to make an immediate impact in Luke Hamann.
Up Top (170-Hwt): The Jags will be led up top by their three-headed monster in seniors Kyle Epperly, Mike Fiore, and Brad Galassi. Epperly, who is committed to attend Rutgers next season, won 43 matches last year. He was the District 28 Champ, placed 4th in the Region, and made the Boardwalk Hall podium by finishing 7th in the State. Galassi, a 33-match winner, also advanced to AC last year after winning a District Title and placing 4th in the Region. Fiore won 20 matches last season bouncing around at 195, 220, and 285. He is capable of making a run to AC this season as well.
